In 1973, with Bo in charge of design and sales and his Bo Hilleberg had been hiking with DAC-produced trekking poles and declared them the best he’d used, so collaborating with our long-time partner DAC for our own Hilleberg poles made perfect sense. Our poles are a light 240 g (8.5 oz) per pole and impressively strong, and are made with DAC’s TH72M aluminum.
